All that I've learned about Hercules is what I've learned from the animated Disney movie. In the movie, he is shown not knowing that he is a god and having unnatural strength. He is portrayed as a kind and caring character who can do no wrong.

Hercules was a hero in Greek times. He was strong and was capable of completing many task. He did many things for the gods and killed lots of monsters. I mostly know him because he is a very popular hero and he was known for his great strength. I know that he was the best hero out of all of them and the gods liked him very much.

I do not know much about Hercules, but I do know he was a hero of the gods who was taken to earth and then drained of almost all the power he had, but because of the "almost" he went on a very long journey to defeat the evils of the earth and finding love, which he saves in turn from Hades' layer. (And yes I am recounting the events of the old Disney movie if you are wondering [Its a good movie]) Then he tries to save her but he starts dying, but when hs wire is cut he is found to be an Immortal God!

based on my prior knowledge of Hercules, I know that he is a very strong warrior that was very famous among the Greeks and their mythology. I may be wrong but I think that Hercules was a descendant of one of the gods, maybe Zeus. About all of my background knowledge of the hero comes from the little scenes I've seen of the Hercules Disney movie, other than that I don't know much about him.

I know that Hercules is the roman name for Heraclese, a demigod son of Zeus, who was tormented by Hera because of Zeus's infedelity. His birth was delayed by hera so his cousin became first born, and then king. He strangled two snakes in a crib. Hera drove him mad and he killed his wife and children. To atone for his crimes,he did 12 labors for his cousin who was a king.

Hercules is a Greek god that was sent down to earth by Hades. He's commonly associated with strength and he fights monsters like the hydra.

I've heard the name Hercules before but I really don't have much knowledge about him. I know he comes from Greek mythology and I think he is the son of a god. I am unsure of his powers but I figured he has tons of strength.

Hercules was a big part of my life when I was younger as I love the Disney movie "Hercules". It is one of my favourite Disney movies that will always be a part of my childhood. From what I understand, Hercules is a hero. He saves people from monsters and defeats impossible tasks. I know there were 12 tasks he completes that makes him a famous hero, one of which being to kill a certain type of lion. He was very much liked by the people of Greece because he was also a relateable hero in the sense that he suffered just the way mortals did, the only thing different about Hercules is that he can complete tasks no other mortal can.

Hercules was born of Zeus and Hera, but then was forced down to earth and became mortal but still had god-like strength. He was raised in a humble place with humble parents but feels out of place. He is told he is a god and told he has to prove himself. He has this buddy who helps him become the strong god-like figure. He battles a hydra and countless other monsters but then falls in love with a mortal. As a test of true godly-ness, The girl dies, and Hercules goes to save her. He is brought to Mount Olympus to become a god again, but then he stayed on earth to stay with the mortal.

The first thing that comes to mind is his strength. From the movie I remember he is shown not realizing he was a god and having an unnatural strength. He is also shown as a good guy or the hero to the people.

I knew Hercules as the big strong hero of greece who had the support of the gods, as many people im sure have known him as. He was a hero that in my mind could do anything because his strength was amazing and nothing could stop him no matter what. I upon reading a bit more of the greek mythology in my life knew him as a descendent of one of the gods, other than these items I don't know much about him.

I know that Hercules was the strongest man on Earth during the times of Ancient Greece. I know he strangled a snake to death when he was a child, and grew up to become a hero. He completed a various number of tasks for the Oracle, such as slaying the Nemean lion, of which he strangled with his own two hands. He also defeated the Hydra, a giant serpent with multiple heads. I did not know he killed his family, but he is a hero.

The only thing that I know about Hercules basically comes from the Disney movie. I know that he is the son of Zeus and that he has a great amount of strength. He completes 12 labors in order to be able to live on Mount Olympus with his family where he was born.

I know that hercules was a hero in greek times, and is looked upon as a god by most people in our time. He has been portrayed in many movies as only a strong person, which is why they cast Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is loved by the gods, and since he showed them that he can complete the tasks they give him, they believe that he is god worthy.

I know that Hercules was a hero because he defeated monsters with his strength. My understanding is that he was generally moral and tried to do the right things. In the disney version, he hangs out with Pegasus and is mentored by the goat man. Hercules is one of the most beloved/well-known hero from all of the greek myths.
