Hercules was regarded and still is regarded as one of if not the best greek hero. His story is more so one that is not recognized during his lifetime it is more one that lasts through his and then preceding lifetimes. He is used in society a lot and is highly regarded in terms of stories of all different mythologies.

I know from the Disney movie that Hercules was taken as a baby and he is very emotional. He wasn't very intelligent and couldn't control his emotions. He was a hero to almost all of Greece

Hercules was a very strong, confident, and emotional guy. He had to go through a lot of labors, and ended up killing his family. He was not very smart, but very good at fighting and getting what he wanted. -Emma

After reading about Hercules we know that Hercules had quite the temper and lacked intellect. Hercules may or may not have had anger issues and knew he was strong and powerful and was not overly humble with that gift. In the Disney version of Hercules, he is portrayed as a smart, hardworking, nonemotional guy, which was probably not the case.

Hercules completed 12 labors as penance for King Eurystheus after Hera made him murder his own family. He had Immense strength but was not the brightest. Very emotional and prone to violence.

Hercules is said to be the child of Zeus, and his mother was mortal making him a half-god. He was very strong and was a fighter. Hercules was not the brightest of heroes he used muscles and emotions to solve his problems. He did a lot of fighting even killing a hydra. But he was soon discovered to not be a very kind or selfless hero. He murdered his entire mortal family. Zeus's wife, Hera, did not like Hercules, she sent challenges after challenges after him.

He is probably considered to be the most famous hero of all time. Hercules is portrayed as being far more intelligent in the Disney movie than he is in the myth we read. His family background also differs from story to story. In the movie he is trying to earn his way to Olympus and become a God and in the myth he often wants to fight the Gods.

Based on my prior knowledge, I know that Hercules killed monsters and was adored by everyone. After reading the "Hercules" myth, I now know that Hercules is emotional and doesn't have intellect. After reading the "Hercules" myth, I also know that Hercules is prideful like other greek heroes.
