I do not think love can survive without trust. With that being said it goes both ways because Psyche needed to trust her instincts to see what her husband looks like.

I believe that love cannot exist without trust. Trust is such a big part of love and you need to be able to trust someone in order love them. I agree with what Cupid did because she made a vow and he trusted her but when she broke it, he lost the trust he had for her in the first place. The quote "Love is blind" does say something, because it implies that anyone and everyone can be loved but love cannot be created between two people if there is no trust between them.

I don't think love can be a one demensional thing where one person loves another but that person doesnt love them back. both parties in the realationship need to be happy. and that mean that they can trust each other and what they say. if one person is not trustworthy then the whole thing will come apart.

Trust is a requirement to be in love. Loving someone without being able to rely on them and confide in them just is not healthy. I agree with what Cupid did because Pysche gained his trust and when she broke it, he lost the love. Going into any relationship/ friendship is a shot in the dark because you have to gain trust and get to know the person for who they really are.

Trust is very important in relationships and people that do not trust each other would not have a very good relationship. Psyche broke a promise to not see what Cupid looked like and Cupid could not stay because that trust had been broken.

I think that relationships without trust are not real relationships. you have to trust each other or nothing will work out. I think cupid made her not look at him and told her to trust him as a test to see if he could trust her. however I think there are better way to gain/test trust then to tell them to not see my face. When Psyche broke his trust it wasn't because she didn't trust him it was because she wanted to see who she was loving.

I feel that trust is a huge part of relationships. Whether it be a relationship with a friend or a lover, trust confirms the love you have for them. The idea that you could put your life in their hands not knowing you will live but trusting you will. "She knew without seeing that here was no monster or shape of terror, but the lover and husband she had longed and waited for." This shows how Psyche trusted Cupid without knowing what he looks like. After all the horror she had learned about her lover, she knew he wasn't a beast.

I believe love cannot form or last without trust. Psyche had to be willing to trust herself in finding her husband and trusting that even seeing cupid just in the shadows he was handsome and a good person. The quote "She must enter without fear and bathe and refresh herself" implies that she cannot fear cupid but accept and trust him.
