Greek mythology has deeply impacted our modern world through its lessons and characters and their trials and tribulations. A lot of the things that we have today are because of Greek culture and their inventions and geniuses. In order to look forward, we need to embrace the experience of our past and the past of the ancient Greeks.

Greek mythology is something that you can live without knowing anything about however it's also something that can teach you more on what happened in the past and what you can do about certain things in the future. Personally I think that learning about the past is a crucial part about moving forward because if you learn about the mistakes that took place earlier before your lifetime then you can easily steer clear of those mistakes in the future so you don't cause the same thing to happen again.

After watching the video, I think it's interesting that Greek History is made up of both mythology and things that happened in real life. Although it is interesting, it is also confusing. How do people know what actually happened versus what is a myth? Also, I think that you do need to look back to look forward into our world. If no one looked back at what Ancient Greece used to look like, everybody would think that Greece was always just a bunch of ruins.

I think that Greek Mythology is something that is a bridge between mythology & historical facts, and with that, it has impacted the way that people live today. Not only do we incorporate Greek creations, such as architecture, but we also use the names of the Gods, Goddesses, & other figures. Even though Greece is just another place in our world, because of the tales that are told from Greek Mythology, we almost feel as though Greece in itself is some sort of epic fairytale.
What the video showed me is that no one really knows what happened and if it is really true but with records and things like that we can provide evidence and might end up showing us the truth in the end.
Greek Mythology has made an impact in our world because of what we have learned back then. Since we have information back before we were even born about Greek Mythology we can build on that and gain more information off of our knowledge. For example a Disney movie can even give us some understanding of a God such as Hercules depending on how it’s displayed.
