Greek culture is the backbone of civilization, I think that its important to both look back for advice but to also change and make things new. Greek culture has its influence all around the world and I think that its cool how we can draw so much influence from a culture that was revolved around myths.

Even though Greek Mythology is hundreds of years old, it is still so prevalent in our society. It has shaped past civilizations and ideas. Today, pieces of greek culture can be seen everywhere. I do think we have to look to our past to move forward in our world. We have learned so much from out past that has helped us shape the future. Without our past, and the people that came before us, we would constantly be making the same mistakes and be much less advanced in areas like math, science, and technology.

I feel like greek mythology is a good way to look back and we need to look back to go forward as history can show us what mistakes we have made and how we can correct them. The Ancient greeks made many mistakes and blamed a lot of them on mythical characters. The philosophy of the greeks was key in guiding many modern governments. Greek history was somewhat guided by their belief in mythical beings as the ideals of those people.

Greek culture and architecture is still present in the world today. There are Greek restaurants, towns named after the Gods or the people (Sparta) who were there, and even a dish soap. The cities may be ruins, but the Greeks are immortal because of their stories and way of life.

Looking back to look forward is a necessity. The saying “History repeats itself” tells us that we need to learn from humanity's mistakes so we don’t repeat them. Every human does it by adapting to change and learning what is "good" and what is "bad." We do this by looking back at the repercussions that happened last time we did something similar. Then we decide to continue with our actions or change them.

I believe that to look back and revel at the myths of the past as if they were better than they truly were is necessary to believe in the current day, as if it could ever live up to the same sort of mythology. To look back to the past, one can learn from its faults, and relive its triumphs.. constantly improving, constantly growing forward. The past offers guidance to the modern day almost always. There is a level of romanticism in the past, and a sense of constantly being able to relate to ancient civilization. Relating, improving, and preserving.

Ancient Greek is described as "enormous" and "rich". They had many achievements to be admired and looked upon today. Greek fire and architecture reflects on our modern world. There are also places names after Greek cities. Greece was where Western Civilization was born. It is important to look what worked in the past and modernize it in the future. We can learn from the mistakes of the past and use the successes from it.

One of the big ideas I got out of the video was that throughout history people have chosen what they believe is important about the Greeks and their history which to me means we could be missing out on important ideas or concepts that were never passed to us. Each culture has tweaked and changed information about the Greeks because to them it seems correct and reasonable. I think a lot of people forget that pretty much all of our language originated from the Greeks and without that foundation our world would be so different. The Greeks have molded our interpretations about life.

Their history is so unique compared to other cultures from their time. Many things in the modern day world are named after Greek people or things. The Greek's entire culture was technologically advanced and so much more advanced than many other cultures, including their architecture, science, and their armies. These things could help form better versions in our future. Most inventions and discoveries in ancient Greece are still very important to this day and they could also help us look forward.

It's crazy to see that all of the legends of Greece are becoming mainstream. Americans have forgotten the true meaning of history and just use the sacred names for names of hotels and things. It makes you wonder how much of ancient Greece influences culture right now and if their story is still relevant enough to be passed down for many more years. Will there be a flying car company named Zeus? It is amazing to think about how much Greece influenced and still influences our daily lives from across the globe.

I think that the Greek Culture is a very important piece of our culture and the advancements in learning which we might not have gotten if we dd not look back on it. I think that it is cool that we can look back on something so many years ago and still use some principles or structure from it in today's world. I think it is very important to look back and see theese things or else we will the same mistakes that they made. I think it was the first step in making our society a better thing.

The elements of greek mythology are so immense that we are still using references from that time. We named a spaceship “Apollo”, there are teams called “Spartans” We still use columns in our buildings. Some people even name their dogs Zeus and Athena. Just goes to show how much of an influence the greek society has on our own society today.

I thought it was cool how they said each generation of people interprets greek philosophy and culture differently. I think its cool that so many people can see the exact same thing so differently.

Greece survived as a mystery and a myth. Greek mythology is an interesting topic with so much we don't know, we might not ever know. The greek people were incredibly smart and I think they knew a lot of things we don't. I think we do have to look back to look forward in our world because, so much has changed it our world and everything is so covered up. The Greeks were there back when humans were starting to figure stuff out and they have a different way of looking at things, everyone is so close minded now they might not see what's really happening.

Greece seems to be the center point of the world as if it all began there. since its such a big part of our history as humans, we still create "shrines" and other things as to not forget our past. even modern-day language has been developed from greek words. it's important to look to the past and focus on the future.

I think it is valuable to learn about Greek mythology, culture, history and philosophy because it shaped the way we live today. and continues to influence our lives. We have come along way from ancient Greece therefore we need to learn how they explain things without knowing the science behind it. They culture developed from their learnings whereas ours has developed from theres. Learning about early greece can help us understand how they viewed the world at their time with the materials at hand and how it has developed to our future culture and science. Therefore we should be looking back, for it can tell us many things related to why we do what we do and where things came from.

Many greek legends and stories bring inspiration to modern day life. The Spartans in specific bring bravery to the police department. In fact, we do need to look back into the past to look into the future because the history and events that happened to inspire and build us today. The ancient letter found in greece inspires tons on the greek mythology to this day. And to this day more and more information is becoming discovered which affects our past and future. The better our understanding of Greece the better understanding of ourselves.

I believe that we do need to look back to look forward. Greek culture provided many things for our modern world such as math and architecture, many of todays stories borrow from myths and tales from that time. In fact, western culture has been heavily influence by Greek culture in literature and art. People can learn valuable lessons by looking back at history in order to learn from prior mistakes. Today people can reflect on myths to find a deeper meaning or come to a conclusion, making myths seems larger than they are. Greek placed a focus on self fulfillment and unity. Greek culture relied on perfection, a philosophy I do not believe in as one can find beauty in flaws. Today society places a large emphasis on Greek culture since it is threaded throughout our everyday lives.

The mythology the Greeks created is something very interesting to think about because it was something that the ancient Greeks came up with in order to make sense of certain things that they couldn't explain. The Greeks also had great advancements in philosophy, math, and science. They had many achievements like for example their architecture which is still being used today.

Th past is a guide on how to improve the future. it shows what worked and what didn't. It helps people get an idea on what will best work for society as a whole and what might better for everyone in the future. The Greek culture as a whole has help many different societies of people through generations past its destruction because their success, wealth in every form of the word, and intelligence. Their society had many great successes that have been used since then: money, alphabet, story telling, words, thinking processes, democracy, etc. Ancient greece has a great impact on modern cultures and will still continue to impact it by being reinterpreted from generation to generation.

When we look back on the great achievements of the Greeks, we think of how enlightened they seemed in their culture and their buildings that were magnificent. Also, when I look at what we have achieved through science and not beliefs, we don't have to rely or look back on the past to be great. That is what I think of the Know Thyself.

I am thinking regarding Greek Culture that there are still here from them. Like for example the calendar, math, etc. We wouldn’t be as organized as we are now through school. I think that we need to look ahead and leave our past behind because our past could bring us down and lead us from looking ahead. I believe that looking forward in time that could help us pursue our conflicts and our stresses to have a happy and positive life.

This video shows that without the past we wouldn’t have the world we live in today. Because Greece was such a big part of the past, and the history of the world, people have to pay attention to it. Even if Greece itself has changed from the past we still have to look at the stories, legends, and myths of the time to know where we are today. Their stories show what went wrong and what went right when living in the past and building such a great society.

Greek mythology shaped the culture and how Greek communities work. In my opinion, we do need to look back into the past but also look forward. Our world is changing, however past actions and choices have gotten us as far as we are today. I feel like looking back on Greek mythology is a good way to reflect as a community. Greek culture also has a huge impact across the world, and I think that's important that we look bath on Greek history.

Greek Mythology is something that has impacted the resent in very important ways. From our military strategies to our architecture we have used many Greek ideas to shape our society today. I think that in order to understand how our world came to be today we need to be willing to look to the past. Greek life is a big part of our past and our future without people being willing to look into the past and how it shaped the future our world wouldn't be what it is today.

Greek Mythology is full of a lot of interesting topics that has affected how we think things were created in the world and why things are there. A lot of the architecture we use today with building. I think understanding how other people saw how the world came to be is crucial to move forward and make the world better.

Greek culture has deffinitly shaped most thing in our society such as science and math understaning however i think we should look ahead becasue looking back at the past would simply waste time because the future hold better things.

I do think that at some point we will have to look back in order to move forward. I do not think however we need to right now. I feel that as of right now, we are in a good place. Until we can discover more about the greeks, and dive deeper in their lives, we should not look back. They have set a foundation for us to modernize. I believe that we have used what we should have. Now it is time to build off of what they taught us. Until they can teach us more, it is time to leave our roots, and grow as humanity.

Greek culture has definitely played a large role in shaping the world we know today in areas of math and science as well as philosophy. I feel as though it's important to look back on history and learn from mistakes that were made, but not to primarily focus on it. We should look more to the future than we do to the past as our world is changing and evolving in a different way everyday.

Greek Mythology affects how we think of school and how it was brought there are many things that come from Greek culture such as science and math and how they where created. There is also Myths such as the greek myths and many other cultures that have stemmed off of the greek mythology and I think this helps us look forward to more exiting thing in greek mythology.

Greek Mythology has affected the world and continues to even today. The Olympics, math, science, and art they portrayed are highly looked at and taught in today's society. In order for society to grow as a whole looking back into the past is a good way to start. By seeing the errors, of others and society back then it can help us grow further by not repeating history. Learning it causes ud to truely look at where it began which is a cool concept to grasp.
