perseus is more heroic because he, though gaining some help from gods in the form of some tools and weapons, he still defeats Medusa alone and follow his own challenges rather than Jason who constantly relies on others to do his own challenge

I think Perseus is more heroic because he sets off to save his mother. Even though Perseus had no idea how to kill Medusa he still goes and sets out to find her. Jason sets off on his “Journey” to reclaim his throne, not save anyone. Jason also brought a whole group of warriors, as for Perseus who was alone on his journey. Throughout the whole myth Jason never really shows bravery and he had the help of the gods the whole time. Instead of getting help from other warriors like Jason, Perseus persevered to kill Medusa.

Perseus is more heroic than Jason because he fought something that many people had tried to fight and had lost to. He also had a more noble cause to go on the journey that he did. He wanted to save his mother whereas Jason mostly wanted a throne and fame for what he had done to earn his throne.

Perseus is more heroic as his story and actions are much more selfless, Jason's story is pretty much just helping himself. Perseus does everything on his own, aside from some help from the gods, and he does this to help others, namely his mother. Jason on the other hand, he gathers many heroes to do the dirty work for him, and it is only to better himself.

Perseus is more heroic than Jason because he went through more things than Jason. He had more journeys. Also Perseus didn't just do things for himself,he helped many people in his acts.Selfless acts.He didn't have alot of help either unlike Jason.

Perseus is more heroic than Jason for a few reasons. First, Perseus had a much better reason for going about killing people and creatures because the reward was for his mother while Jason was doing everything for himself. He managed to defeat Medusa, who wasn't able to be tricked or manipulated like the dragon was able to be, therefore making his mission far more tough than Jason's.

Personally, I think that Perseus is far more heroic than Jason would ever be. The reason why I think that is because Jason throughout his story just does some awful things and is with people that are killers and Perseus did not do any of that. Not only that, but Jason didn't do anything that important while Perseus killed Medusa who killed many people.

Perseus is more heroic, this is because he was able to conquer a trial that was very difficult. He was strong enough to accept help from the gods in order to complete the trial. He may have had the tools to accomplish his task, but in the end it was him who took the head of Medusa.

I think Perseus is more heroic than Janson for many reasons starting with the fact that he went through a lot more. But through all of his trials he is doing it for others and is getting little help. He does it to help protect others, mainly his mother. But Jason is selfish and when in situations can only think about himself, and only does things if it benefits himself, not to mention his get help. Perseus is just more caring and selfless and willing to put others needs before him, making him a hero.

Perseus was more heroic than Jason for many reasons. Jason went to get the golden fleece so that he could be king and although that’s not bad, Perseus had an unselfish reason, to save his mother, and that is more heroic, doing things for others, than doing something for yourself. Jason also asked for help from the Argonauts and Perseus was prepared to go on his journey alone. Perseus did get help from the gods but he wasn’t expecting it. Jason also didn’t do as much as Madea did and she didn’t get really any credit. Perseus did everything by himself besides the help from the gods.

I believe that Perseus was definitely more heroic than Jason, because Perseus did all of these heroic deeds without any ulterior motives, whereas Jason did it all for personal gain. Also, Jason got the Golden Fleece, sure, but Perseus defeated Medusa, turned the Kraken to stone, defeated countless monsters and beasties, but then in the end still refused to be king. He just wanted to be a normal dude, and didn't need recognition for his selflessness. Conversely, Jason teamed up with a whole lot of people he didn't care about, and honestly did a lot of them wrong (see: Medea), and did it all in the pursuit of power and notoriety. Clearly, my boy Perseus was a way cooler (i.e., more heroic) guy than Jason in a variety of ways.

Perseus is more heroic than Jason is because he wasn't as selfish and didn't use people use people to get what he wanted. Jason wanted to obtain the golden fleece for himself whereas Perseus was trying to get his mother back. Although Jason had help from the gods he still used, manipulated, and killed many people. Perseus had been given items to help him obtain Medusa's head he still had to be the one to kill her. Jason had been helped the whole way from the gods making Medea fall in love with Jason so that she would help them and ultimately did whatever needed to be done. So Perseus' quest was harder on him than Jason's adventure was so, therefore, Jason is not as heroic than Perseus.

I think Perseus was more heroic because his journey was a lot harder physically and mentally compared to Jason's journey. Perseus went on his journey for his mom and Jason went on his journey to claim his throne. I feel like Perseus's journey was more meaningful and we as humans can relate better because he's going on his journey out of love for his mother.

I think that Perseus is more heroic then Jason because he is a lot more selfless. He goes on journey not to benefit himself to help others. While Jason's journey is only to benefit himself.

I feel that Perseus was more of a hero than Jason, because his cause became more noble than Jason's was. Neither wanted to lose their honor, and so went on a quest for glory and such to try and keep their honor intact as well as accomplish some spoils. Perseus' journey, however, was motivated in part by his honesty and his need to protect his mother, while Jason's quest was for only himself.

I feel like Perseus was more heroic than Jason. I feel this way because Perseus went on an adventure to save the woman that his father was keeping to himself. Perseus' goal was to get Medusa's head and bring it back to his father and then the woman would be released. Jason didn't real have a real purpose other than to get the golden fleece. Jason also manipulated many people to get to his end goal, while Perseus stayed as true to his word as possible.
