There is mythology in Star Wars. I see that they created some of the characters based on back then and even today. Mythology is all around us. No matter where you look. There is mythology in what we watch on the the television. I will make sure that I look for myths in other subjects that I take.

There is mythology in star wars because theirs things that could be a myth in the movie. It also talks about how there's different heroes and enemies like in mythology. There is also different challenges to overcome like in mythology. I will now understand different things in English class history class and in other subjects because of learning about myths. I liked mythology and learned its very interesting to learn about this stuff.

Mythology is very present in Star Wars. This is seen in the characters and story. Many things in our world are based on mythology and its sometimes hard to identify. With knowledge of the stories in Greek Mythology I can connect the ideas of mythology in the world.

I see lots of mythology in star wars! Similar to Greek Mythology, higher beings (often with unbelievable powers) enact control on the world around them. They are also able to command those below them, such as the numbers of soldiers, just as the Gods were able to command the people of Greece. Both stories also contain very strange and otherworldly characters. I think that Greek Mythology, through time, has had a huge influence on the way we see the world. I hope that now, since I have taken this class, I will be able to notice such influences within other subjects and classes. Greek Mythology is complex and very important to entertainment and ideas in todays' world and through learning about it one is able to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

I see a connection between Greek mythology and Star Wars in that Star Wars has a story with a heroic journey that is similar to those of the ones that we read about other Greek heroes that we learned about. From this class, I now see connections in my normal day to Greek mythology. I have noticed that I see things on TV and in other classes, especially English class that connect to Greek mythology. Greek mythology is not what I thought it would be. Before this class, I thought it was a bunch of stories that were entertaining, but I now see how these stories still connect to our lives today. I also see the Greeks' point of view on life through the stories that we had read in the myths throughout the semester. For example, how the Greeks' viewed technology, how they viewed love, and how they defined a hero. A lot of the ideologies that we have today are very similar to those of the Greeks.

Wanted to recreate myths and the mythological motifs. Friendship, control of destiny, paths. Wanted cultural relevance. Influenced by observations and likes and things seen. A common trend seen is with how he wants to recreate different aspetcs of life already seen but recreate it in a way that has never been seen before. Wanted to go back into the representations of evil. Went back into Christian and Greek Mythology and other religious aspects.

Star Wars is definitely a mythology, to be more specific it is a deliberate alignment to the hero's journey. Greek Mythology also follows the lines of the Hero's Journey so the two are connected through the monomyth. Throughout this class we have studied Greek Mythology and learned how it relates to today. What I learned from this class, is how we can use Greek Mythology in order to look into ourselves.

The mythology of Star Wars is ever present, and it was admittedly chosen by George Lucas to reflect both the old world myths of Greece and taken into a science fiction style. The constant fight inside of characters over both their good and evil is prominent with the Force, and the archetypes of both Sith and Jedi represent ultimate good, Jedi, and ultimate evil, Sith. After taking this course, I will take a greater understanding of the Greek Myths to my other courses and classes throughout my academic career.

One thing about a mythology to star wars, I compare the godly helpful divine powers that help the heroes on their adventures to Yoda and Obi-wan who help Luke. I have not been able to pick out any patterns between Greek mythology and Star wars. I will use Greek mythology out of school in order to make sense of things other people do not have the knowledge to do the things I can with Greek mythology. I can also create references in my writing to Greek mythology.
