My reaction to the Cupid and Psyche myth is that the saying “Love cannot live where this is no trust” is very true. To have a healthy relationship with a partner trust is needed. Trust is a very important element in a relationship because without it there is really no love in that relationship. Just a sea of questions and a dark pit with no answers.

The reaction I had to the story of Cupid and Psyche myth is confusion. I believe that to have a relationship today trust is the biggest thing. If you want to love somebody and spend time with them, you have to trust them even when they aren't with you. This myth was the exact opposite though. Even though there were arranged marriages in older times, I don't think a woman would marry a man she couldn't see. Also she only knew him for what seemed to be a day, and when she found out he was Cupid she seemed even more interested in him. The story says that it is love but that isn't certain. Cupid's quote is "Love cannot live where there is no trust" I question why if he is a god like all the others why he knew Psyche could not be trusted.I think one bad sign of distrust in a today's example like cheating, could be like Psyche's betrayal of looking at him. If Cupid did mean his proclamation then why did he come back to her.

The myth of Cupid and Psyche left me with one lasting thought. "Love cannot live where there is no trust." This is so true now more than ever. There are always stories of trust issues and with my friends and there girlfriends there are trust issues. I believe the most important thing to have in a love relationship is trust.

The reaction I have to the story of Cupid and Psyche myth is the act of love, and the thought of love. "Love cannot live where this is no trust." Love can not exist without trust- if there is no trust, there is no love. Love is one of the most important things to have in life, and we need trust in order to feel love. It is important to trust, it is important to love. This is my reaction.

I completely agree with the lesson about love and trust in this story. The lesson that is taught is that "love cannot live where there is no trust". I completely agree with this, trust is a huge part of having a healthy relationship, i would argue that it is he most important part of a loving relationship. I'm going to leave you with this thought; you need trust to love, but you also need love to trust.

I thought that the myth about Cupid and Psyche explaining that "Love cannot live where there is no trust" is very true about relationships. If you truly love someone, then you can take their word for the truth. In the myth, Cupid essentially said that he was not a monster, but Psyche got scared that he was a monster, even though he said he was not. This distrust from Psyche towards Cupid was the reason that Cupid had left her, because he could not trust her that she would do what he asked of her.

After reading about Cupid and Psych, I thought it was interesting how they interpreted love. One thing that stood out to me after reading about this is how they made people fall in love with them. There seemed to be no true love involved. I don’t believe that these people truly loved each other, because this was forced upon them and there was no real relationship that included real love, and trust. I believe that trust is required in order to love another. Especially in todays worlds there needs to be trust between one person and another. Without trust love cannot exist. During the story Cupid cries out, “Love cannot live where there is no trust.” This quote is important because this is the moral of the story. This story shows how important it is to trust someone in order to love them. Overall I agree with the moral of this story that there must be trust in order to love someone.

The reaction that I had to the Cupid and Psyche myth is that love is not just a game, you have to trust the person you are with. The quote that supports my theory is "Love cannot live where there is no trust". I connected this quote to my theory because the without trust a relationship cannot prosper. If there is no trust in a relationship, then there cannot be love. They are like a package deal, you cannot have love with out having trust. The important things in life are the things that we love and trust. Trusting the things and people that you love is what makes them important to you.

In this myth, I think saying "Love cannot live without trust" is completely accurate. If one is in a relationship but does not know where the partner is every night and comes home late, the other partner will lose trust and the relationship will die. If they are both honest with eachother, trust will be built and the relationship will last. Every relationship is built on trust, whether its trusting your mother to feed you dinner or trusting your neighbors dog won't bite you.

My reaction to the Cupid and Psyche myth is that it is very relateable for couples today. There cannot be a healthy relationship without trust. "love cannot live where there is no trust". When Psyche says, "If he has no more love left for me, at least I can show him how much I love him." When the trust is gone the love becomes one sided, and I think this is what Psyche is starting to realize. Trust is the biggest thing in a relationship, whether you are trusting or being trusted, and as humans it is an instinct to trust another, until the trust has been broken.

When I read the myth about Cupid and Psyche, I had a wide variety of reactions. My first reaction to the story was the feeling of gratitude. I was grateful that Cupid took Psyche back, even though she had broken her promise. It warmed my heart to know that Psyche had done something terrible, and Cupid could still find the power and courage to love her. The next reaction I had while reading, was a pity towards Aphrodite. Aphrodite is the mother of Cupid, and it would only make sense that she would want to protect her child from someone as harmful as Psyche. But the way that Aphrodite handled the situation was inexcusable, and she should have consulted Cupid about Psyche instead of taking matters into her our hands. My final reaction was an emotion of wonder. I wondered how Cupid could have been able to take Psyche back and love her again. Psyche did a horrible thing, and for Cupid to forgive her without second thought puzzles me.

After reading the Cupid and Psyche, I do agree with the idea that "love cannot live where there is no trust." I think all relationships build off of trust, there is no way people can say they're in love when they can't even trust the other person. It annoyed me a little that Cupid just up and left when Psyche wanted to see what he actually looked like. I think Cupid should have trusted Psyche enough to allow her to see him, yet he still blew up at her and made it to where she couldn't be trusted.

"Love cannot live where there is no trust." I like this quote that cupid said. It's a very true statement even to this day. Cupid was doubtful of Psyche and knew that he could not fully trust her, therefore the love between them couldn't live. In this generation we hear all the drama in relationships and the main cause is one person doesn't trust the other. If you cant trust someone then all the relationship is made of is doubt and suspicion which aren't good qualities to have. All in all with out trust your relationship won't be strong.

In Cupid and Psyche myth, "Love cannot live where there is no trust." Is very true because love can only exist if you are able to trust the other person, and if they are able to trust you. This is shown because Cupid does not want psyche to know who he is, so he has to trust her to never look at him and just to trust him based on there conversations. Psyche breaks this trust causing the whole relationship to fall apart. This is comparable to almost all relationships in today's world because they are all based on trust of the other person.

In the Cupid and psyche myth, it is true that love can not live without trust, which was represented in a multitude of ways. First of all, Venus trusted cupid to betray Psyche, rather than to love her. Then, Cupid did not trust Psyche enough to let her see him. This was due to the lies he had made to Venus. When a relationship of any kind is based on lies rather than trust it can not exist. Even if people attempt for it to work and exist well, it isn't real.

My reaction to the Cupid and Psyche myth is that the saying “Love cannot live where this is no trust” is 100 hundred percent true because if you cant tell the truth and be loyal you will have problems in your relationships. Trust is probably one of the biggest things to a good relationship because if you are very loyal you'll have a stable relationship and you'll trust each other. If you aren't loyal then you'll most likely have some troubles in your relationship. To a successful relationship trust is key to have a stable relationship.

My reaction to the Cupid and Psyche myth is the quote "Love cannot live where there is no trust". This is very true because if you are not trusting someone you love then there will be problems and love will fail. Love can overcome long distances if there is trust.

My reaction to this myth is that the quote "Love cannot live where there is no trust" is a very true statement. You cannot have a relationship if no one trusts each other. Psyche not being able to see Cupid is very hard on Psyche's trust because she can't tell if he can be trusted of not because she isn't allowed to see him. This myth shows the exact opposite of trust.

I believe trust and honesty are very important parts of a relationship. "love cannot live where there is no trust" Cupid didn't trust Psyche so he left. Eventually he came back because Psyche proved to him that she could be trusted.

My response to the quote "Love cannot live where there is no trust", I personally think nothing could have more truth. If a relationship were to survive with no trust, there would be no use calling it a relationship because it must be mutual. Distrust in your partner can lead to very hurtful actions. Retaliation to where none were to spark it. Nobody is comfortable in a situation where there is no trust. If I were to say anything, trust is the most important component in a healthy relationship.

The reaction I had to the Cupid and Psyche myth is that without trust you have nothing. Without trust you can't have anything, not anything real. If someone betrays trust and continues to break the trust that was given then why continue to trust someone who is just going to keep betraying and breaking that second chance that they were given. Trust isn't just something you get or that you can buy, it's earned through backing people up, being their friend and giving them trust as well. Cupid said that "If you can't accept the fact that I don't want you seeing my face and go behind my back and look then how can I trust you." Without trust, faith, compromise, and belief than you can't have a relationship or anything else for that matter.

After reading Cupid and Psyche the quote from cupid "love cannot exist where there is no trust." This is a great statement given that most things in life involve trust in the fellow man or even animal alike. The one thing that circles my mind is Cupids actions after the event happened. Why did he come back? What went through his mind? After Psyche blatantly went behind his back and injured him. Love has a way of biting back in a sense.

After reading the myth of Cupid and Psyche. I agree to the message of love cannot live without trust. When you're in a relationship, you need to be able to tell your mate anything good or bad.
