The only story i know of is Hercules is the Disney version, I know that Hercules is the Roman name for Heracles he was Zeus son and known for being very strong and powerful, also for his many great adventures, and there are more stories told about him than any other hero. That's really all i know since Disney seems to change the true story a little bit!

I know alot about Hercules, especially that there are many different versions of the famous hero. The version that most people are familiar with is the Disney version that is very child-like and comedic. He is usually associated in being the great Greek hero that saved all the gods. But the real version that was the original, Hercules is considered a hero, but very flawed. In the original books he was a savage character that had to go through many trails to prove himself after he killed his family. That version is completely different than the Disney version. That is what I know about Hercules, he is a character with many versions, light and dark.

Pretty much all I know about Heracles is that he was a demigod who rode pegasus, and killed the seemingly unkillable Hydra. Didn't he also get tricked into killing his family or something? Disney kind of glossed over that bit if he did.

The only version of Hercules I know is the Disney movie version, which depictes him as a lost youth who wants to find his parents. I know this is not the case with the actual story, because Disney tends to make things its own. I never heard any of the original legend or the original character, so I don't know much about him.

Heracles was the Greek hero who was the son of Zeus. He his mother had to cast him away because of threats from Hera. Hera was then tricked into nursing Heracles when he was cat away and this gave him great powers and also how he got his name. Heracles had to go through many trials but I'm not really sure why. He also went on to accompany Jason on the Argo and help Theseus on some of his quests.

I don't know much about Hercules, other than what Mr. Trotter has already mentioned in class: He's incredibly strong, he was a member of the argonauts, and he killed his own family in a fit of insanity. He was also a son of Zeus, I think.

I know very little about Hercules. I have seen the Disney movie and I am only sure about a few things that I have heard elsewhere. I know Hercules is the Roman name for Heracles. I know that he is a great hero who saved many people and defeated the hydron. I know he is Zeus's son and has great strength. I also know that he had many flaws and had to prove himself through many challenges. His leading up to being a hero was a lot of trial and error.

Hercules was one of the most famous Greek heroes, mainly because he was the strongest. He also had to complete many different challenges in order to prove himself worthy of the title of strongest hero. He was consumed with hubris, and this led him to many problems. He accidentally murdered his family, and was in turn accidentally murdered with centaur's blood. He was greatly praised and criticized, and will remain a famous icon.

Hercules is the hero of great strength, courage, and flaws. He possessed the ability to be great but his temper tended to get in the way. I have learned that he killed his own family and that was his darkest moment. Much like all of the other Greek heroes, Hercules was thrust into many foolish and difficult tasks. He also faced many personal trials along his journey. Hercules also considered himself an equal among the Gods which led to Hercules showing great disrespect for the Gods. Aside from all of this, Hercules is considered the greatest Greek hero.

Hercules was a Greek hero who was the son of Zeus. His mother was a mortal but had to give Hercules away because of threats Hera, Zeus's wife, made to her.The first sign of Hercules supernatural powers was when he was baby and experienced super strength killing two serpents who had snuck into his crib. Hercules grew up with super strength and accomplished many quests. ALso aided in helping Jason on his quests

I know that Heracles slaughtered his entire family and committed several terrible acts in his quest for fame. Despite his actions, he is considered a great hero and admired for his strength and success, despite his crimes. He aided Jason and lost much of what he held dear to him in his life. He was also the son of Zeus and was loved by him dearly,

I do not have very much knowledge in regards to Hercules. I know that the Disney movie does not sum up all of the tales about this hero. I do know that Hercules is the Roman name for the Greek Heracles. I also know that he was the son of Zeus, and he had many great adventures. He was a very strong, powerful man who defeated many great beasts. A few of his feats include slaying the Hydra, slaying the Nemean Lion, and stealing the Mares of Diomedes. There are more stories that I have heard about Hercules than any other hero in mythology. This is all I know about Hercules.

I don't know much about Hercules but I do know he defeated the hydra. Most of the information I know about Hercules comes from the Disney movie which is probably not very accurate. He was a demigod, the son of Zeus, or at least he was in the Disney movie. He was a great hero and went on many quests but Disney probably changed the story a bit.

I Know that Hercules was a hero and the son of Zeus. He often experienced rage and made mistakes. He went on the quest for the golden fleece but left half way through and went to look for his friend. He liked challenges and went out of his way to find them. He killed his family and then went to his friend Theseus for help. He killed the Hydra and I think the Spartans were supposed to be decended from him.

I think this character is very hard to understand with all the contradicting stories that are made about Hercules. Some portray him as a strong loving hero that does good. Others you can see him as a little more savage or scrappy. But what is known is he is the most talked about hero in Greek mythology is very liked among the gods and had many many adventures.

The mighty Hercules, probably the most well known Greek hero, has been on many adventures and a very trying past to get to his spot next to his father, Zeus. Hercules was a fierce warrior who battled many monsters to keep the ‘mortals’ safe. He was also given Pegasus by Zeus to help him with his journeys. He was also cousin to the great Perseus. He had incredible strength and willpower but like many other heroes fell prey to hubris, at one point.

Hercules is the Roman name while Heracles is The Greek name. The Disney movie is not very accurate in the story, like Hera is not his mother in fact she wanted to have him killed.Zeus was indeed his father. Some of the stories in there supposedly happened but not all. He killed his family.

Though I never knew all the stories about Heracles (or in Roman, Hercules), there is much I knew about his life. This is due to the many references of him in some literary works and movies. Hercules was born from a mortal mother yet his father was Zeus the immortal god. When he was being raised he was in his crib when two serpents attacked him. When they attacked he strangled both and from then on he was destined to do great things due to his superior strength. Most greeks would say that he had the characteristics that they valued. These would include his courage and strength. That is what I know about the famous character.

Hercules to me is kid that went from Zero to Hero and wants to go the distance to find where he belongs. Disney taught me that with Hercules, if you set your mind to it you will get there. But, listening to other people who have taken this class, I found out that he actually killed his family. and is a very conceded man. he's a demigod and son of Zeus! child stories of him and historical stories are very different.
