When it comes to a relationship you must trust the person you have it with. Because you cannot always be with them you must trust them to do the right thing. If you cannot trust your partner then there is no love only lust. This is because love cannot be forced, it happens naturally and if the other person loves you then they trust you to do and say the right thing to have a happy relationship.
I agree that trust is necessary in relationships. If a couple doesn't trust one another, then I don't think that they can truly reach a level of love between one another. They have to present themselves as they are in order to be in love, and without trust, this can't happen. This is also applicable to friendships. If friends don't trust one another, they will eventually reach a point where they can't strengthen their relationship any more. Trust is essential in all aspects of life.
I think in any relationship, whether a friendship,e romantic kind, sh or should have a base with trust. If you cannot trust someone, who is possibly the closest to you, then you probably cannot trust anyone, and are extremely paranoid. I think when someone breaks your trust, intentional or not, you should always consider why they did it.
Trust is a very important part of a relationship, but so is truth. For Psyche, she was told her future and we know that in this time prochecies should never be disreguarded. So even though Psyche made the decision to believe that her husband was good, everything else was telling her otherwise. And with all of these outside foreces of the prophecy and her sisters, I can see why her trust faltered. And her husband would not let her see him so it was like he was hiding a big truth of himself, so Psyche had a lot of reasons to not trust. I know the moral of the story is to always trust the ones you love, but I think it should have been more evident that the trust and truth must come from both sides for a relationship to be functional.
Trust is something that holds freindships and love together. if you dont trust someone, how can you be true friends? it is something that must be in a relationship.
I agree majorly with Ashley. Trust and truth are both key things to keeping a relationship functional. If dout or mistrust invade the ranks it leads to a crumbling of something wonderful. While love may be a natural thing for humans, so too are lieing and lustfulness. The key to a relationship is to be honest with one another and never dout one another. Dout is destructive.
I think that in a relationship trust is very important. How can you even get along with people you dont trust. I however dont think that it is as important in frindships. While it is nice to be able to trust your friends. You not always be able to, so those are the friends you never tell anything important and really dont care for.
I think you can sometimes because people that fall in love dont really know what love is. Someone you care about and love them in every way is what we feel. Love can be hurtful sometimes because someone you know changed. As we grow up we change into different people sometimes because of your beliefes.
I think that trust is needed in a relationship. If you can't trust the person your with, then how can you trust others that aren't as close to you? I don't think that love can be reached within a relationship if there is no trust built. This also stands true for a friendship. Your friendship can't build if there is no trust between you and your friends.
Cupid's assumption that Psyche would just trust him (especially knowing what she'd heard from the oracle) was utterly rediculous. Curiosity is one of the strongest human emotions and with her sisters continuosly egging her on to check these suspicions out, Cupid had to know she would give in. However, Psyche with all her incredible wisdom finds it necessary to show her sisters how she's been living. She showed no trust in him in that respect either. Trust, in a relationship, is essential. I suppose that in the end I'm glad it worked out for these totally crazed love birds, because God forbid I couldn't put up with either of them (well maybe Psyche if she was as pretty as they said).
I agree that trust is vital to all relationships. If there is not trust, then the people involved in the relationship can never fully develop because there will be something blocking the connection that trust creates in a relationship. Without trust, the people involved can never truly know each other well enough to make the relationship strong and eventually it will fail.
I agree that there must be trust in any relationship, however the situation with Cupid and Pysche was rather different. Even though many people fear that their looks can dictate a relationship, they also, must have trust in the other person. Cupid should have allowed Psyche to see himself, and build a relationship upon trusting one another. Psyche herself also felt like her beauty was a curse, and could have held her back from a real relationship. Because of Cupid’s contradictory ‘love can not exist where there is no trust’ theory, they both made a bigger problem out of this fear of distrust.
I think that when it comes to trust, there needs to be a big part in it during a relationship. You can't be there mother and tell them what to do and always be there for them. Sometimes they may have to leave or you can't be with them. If you don't trust your partner then how could you let them out of your site? It would eventually break up your relationship, which it did in Cupid and Psyche's story.
I think that if you do not have trust in a relationship then there is no relationship. People need to be happy in their life and to do so they have to keep others happy by showing them that you are there and you'll be honest with them and show them their trust. so you'll want to show yours.
Trust is a must! I agree with Kaitlyn in the fact that relationships whether they be romantic or of friendship, all require trust. If you can't trust a friend, are they really your friend? Without trust in relationships, they are in fact not relational. Could you relate and share about yourself with someone you cannot trust? I know I wouldn't. Why would you not want to protect your heart?
Psyche is interesting because she didn't trust her husband before the relationship started, and she had no reason to trust him when they were husband and wife. The myth shows that just as easily as trust can be formed, once it is broken in a relationship it is much harder to build back up. It does give hope by showing that it is possible to rebuild trust and hang onto the relationship present though.
trust is the most important thing in relationships because if you can't trust who you are with then you are not smart by being with that particular person.
In a relationship you have to be able to trust eachother, or it will not be a good relationship or a healthy one. If two people are ina relationship with one another but they do not truley trust eachother then they probably do not really love eachother. Or it would be very hard to with out trust. I think the main focus that would make good relationship possible is trust. That means with friends. and people around you and so on.
I believe that trust is really important in relationships, however I believe it is possible to love even if there is no trust. Their relationship will not be at the level it could be, but there could still be love in their relationship nonetheless. I doubt the relationship would last very long with out some sort of trust though.
Trust is very important in a relationship because you are giving the person your heart and that is a very valuable thing. You have to be willing to believe that the other person is going to be faithful to your morals and to you!
I agree with the myth that trust is a necessary part of any relationship. Without trust, how can one know that the person they think they love is really who they claim to be? Love is a very powerful thing and if you don't trust the person you give it to, they have the potential to really hurt you. This goes for any kind of relationship also.
