The bicycle video inspired me to always try my hardest because he obviously didn't learn those tricks over night and he practiced all the time. In some clips he would fall but then turn around and do it again, it just shows that you can never give up.

They Bicycles presentation demonstrated what hard work can do for you and what you can achieve if you actually buckle down and work at it. It inspired me to always work hard and to never give up becuase there's no limitations on what you can and cannot do in life. When the guy fell he just got up and tried and tried again because anything is possible if you make it possible. Other than that he had some really amazing moves that I personally didn't think was possible.

Ok...mythology connection...I connected it to Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth, wherein he says that in order to completely live, one must conquer the fear of death. I take that to mean to conquer the fear of failure. If one is unafraid of coming in last in a race, of making a fool of themselves, of misinterpreting a poem for an in class essay, THEN they can take chances, and truly LIVE. What is the point in staying in a marshmallow suit under your bed? Dare to try. Try the assignment. Try the new skateboard trick. Try.

My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny. ~Quote by Eliane Maxwell

The bicycle movie made me think about effort. The amount of effort you put into an endeavor is directly related result. The man in the movie wasnt born with the ability to ride a bike over a rod-iron fence, and learning to do so wasnt easy. We see him fall the first time he tries it in the movie, but then he gets back up and completes it. To succeed in school you have to try. You have to do your work and study for tests. Your not always going to get the grade you want, but that doesnt mean you give up. Instead, work harder next time

The bycicle video made me think about how hard it is to be really good. You have to practice hard and always do your best no matter what it is. Its a huge inspiration for me and my schoolwork and my everyday life.

The bicycle video definitly made me look twice! I had to watch the video two times just to comprehend what was going on. But after watching it a second time, it made me think about a number of things. My first thought had to do with the part of the video when he was trying to ride across the top of the fence. I thought that it was pretty cool to see the determination that it took to do that, he never gave up. I think that determination is very important when it comes to school because no matter how hard something is, if you keep working at it you will achieve your goal. A second key part of the whole thing for me didn't necessarily come from the video. What I like about this is that he shared this video with the world, not to achieve fame, but just to show us what he loves to do. I think that is really cool because if you don't love what you are doing, then there is no pont in doing it because you won't put your whole heart into it.

The Inspired Bicycles video is much like our every day life and all of the things that take practice, hard work and determination to achieve. Although the bike rider obviously had a great deal of natural talent, many of the stunts that he performed would have taken countless hours to rehearse and practice before they could be successfully completed. In our lives we need to learn from this video that even if we have quite a bit of natural talent, we need to devote time and effort towards whatever we are doing, we can't always rely on our natural abilities to get by in life.

The Inspired Bicycles presentation related to my world with my passion for skiing. I started skiing when I was five years old, and every year I am improving as much as I can with as much practice as I can get in. This film can relate to me academically because over the years, I have not had the best grades due to my A.D.D., but now I am overcoming that obstacle and my grades are significantly better. I was motivated by this film in the same way I am motivated by skiing videos. I just want to go out there and challenge myself.

I think this video could inspire ANYONE. How many people do you know who can do THAT?! It is very motivating for school. You may not be getting the best grades at the moment, but if you try hard you will succeed. As long as you try you can't fail. Sometimes getting there isn't easy but if you don't give up, you can be successful! Sometimes we fall, but what's important is that we stand up brush off your knees and continue going. And I'm sure he had to do that many times!

The bicycle video really inspired me to keep trying no matter what. Sometimes I have to remind myself that practice makes perfect and you don't just magically become really good at something. The video reminded me to strive to be the best I can be with not just school but with my swimming too. I get really hard on myself sometimes because I tell myself that I could have done better if I had really tried, but this video really helped me realize that I am trying my hardest and that my performances are the best they can be (right then), and that I will keep getting better with the amount of time and honest effort that I put in. The guy on the bike didn't give up ever, and that's what I'm going to try and do.

Upon viewing the Inspired Bicycles presentation, I immediately thought of my horses and my show jumping career. The video reminded me of my goal, competing in the Jr./AO division. It made me want to complete my goal, and work even harder to do so. It also gave me inspiration to write my college essays. The video reminded me of how unique I am and it gave me confidence in writing a college essay, and confidence in myself. I did in fact go home and watch the video again because it was just so fascinating and inspiring. The video reinstated the idea that working hard and practicing, along with determination, goes a long way and helps a person complete their goals.

The tricks that the bicyclist performed in the video were unfathomable. After watching the video I, and other I am sure, wished to successfully execute the tricks that the bicyclist completed. Saying that, I am sure that only a small percentage of the people watching the video put in the time and effort to learn such advanced tricks. Drive and perseverance are what allowed the bicyclist to achieve such greatness. The message that the video illustrates is that the sky is the limit, but it is what people make of the message that really counts. Inspiration can last only for as long as one makes it last, and after that drive and perseverance take over.

The things that he did on the bicycle were things that I would have thought were impossible. It inspiring to see someone so successful at what they do. I think that it demonstrates just where hard work and determination can take you. Excelling beyond the ordinary is quite possible.

Inspiring Bicycles showed how when you fail you need to try and try again. At first, he shows some falls and failed tricks. After that, the bicyclist shows his best moves. This is representing triumph and success and confidence. He did not give up, and this is a great template to follow in day to day life.

The bicycle video..

It inspired me to keep trying even when you fall - because eventually you will succeed. When he completed a really tough trick he seemed like he was accomplished and his motivation to continue doing what he does best. It works the same way in life with almost everything.. Hockey for me mostly.

The video "Inspired Bicycles" Shows me that nothing is impossible if you practice at it. This guy is able to ride on the top of fences and even after probably falling a couple hundred times he kept on trying and was able to complete something that no one probably has ever done or even tried.

First I just have to say that this video is like the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. Can you imagine that if you could do all of those tricks on your bike, you could get to school, work, or where ever you wanted to go, ANY way that you wanted! You wouldn't have to follow the most common path.
The Inspired Bicycles guy has to be extremely determined and self motivated. He probably had to try some of those tricks hundreds of times before he got them without falling, but to get right back up and keep trying shows real character. I think we can all look to him as inspiration in our academic endeavors, because there is always something we can improve on; you can always strive to do better in class. So the thing I think we can learn from him is that even if we "fail" in our goals, the important thing is to get right back up and try again.
One other thing I wanted to know was if the people in his town are used to seeing him, like if they are "oh there goes the insane bicycle man riding across the roof." or if they are like; "Woh what was that?"

The bicycle video definitely made me think about how hard work can pay off in a great way, but it also made me think about pushing the limit. I'm sure that this guy is a wonderful bike rider. He would probably be good at traditional bike tricks but if that's where he started, he certainly did not give up there. I love the creativity he uses in finding ways to express his talents. This can be applied in every part of life, it just shows that if you are good at something and you keep thinking out of the box you can achieve greatness.

The Inspired Bicycles presentation hinted at the amount of focus, willpower, passion, and practice it takes to become extraordinary at something you like to do, and transform it from a hobby, to a major part of your lifestyle.

The bicycle video inspired me to never stop doing what i might be doing. And it also inspired me to always try my hardest. I liked all the tricks that he did and I hope someday that i will be able to do those tricks also. I wonder how long it took him to learn and do all of those tricks?

the video was really cool and it shows that to become great at something u have to practice because there is no way he learned how to do all that stuff without practice. i can relate with the video with football we practice every day to become efficientfor when it really matters, during games. same with acedemics if you dont study hard you will get bad grades.

the bicycle representation relates to my world because i have to try my hardest at everything i do, nothing has ever really been easy for me, especially in school. it did make me look twice! all the tricks he was doing were amazing, that must have taken years of practice. i think what the video said to me was, that if your determined and you just keep trying at what you do, you can succeed and you can be good...really good. THANKS TROTTER!

The bicycle video inspired me to continue doing what is most important to me, and even if i have a failure or setback, it doesn't mean i still can't be absolutley amazing at what i do.
