I think Perseus is more heroic than Theseus because Theseus was I believe just wanted to get famous and have his name known throughout the land. Theseus did more for his friends, family and everyone around him in order to ensure peace and also have his name last.
I think that Perseus is more heroic becuase the things that he acomplished were for the greater of good of everyone around him not just forhimself. Jason and Theseus I think were just out to make a name for themselves and be "heroes" of their own society.
I think Theseus is more heroic than Perseus. Theseus has a constant goal is protection of decency. He faces each challenge like a hero would, bravery, courage wisdom. Wile Perseus uses the objects that was handed to him to his advantage to defeat Medusa. Theseus seeks challenges and wins by his own hand.
I think Theseus was more heroic. He was the greatest hero of Athens. He defeats a lot of evil and wins the heart of Ariadne. He becomes the king of Athens and makes it a democracy. Perseus used the things he was given and Theseus didn't. He fought with his own talents.
The level and scope of Theseus' heroic deeds completely eclipses those of Perseus and Jason. Theseus faced challenges through his whole life, from killing the minotaur, ridding the country side of criminals, and creating democracy. All of Theseus' quests had heroic connotations to them and I would say that there is no modicum of selfishness underlying any of his tasks. Perseus is also similar to this, but had less accomplishments under his belt and therefore fails in heroic comparison to Theseus. Jason is kind of a jerk, I wouldn't even call him a hero.
I do not consider Theseus more heroic than Jason or Perseus. I would say Perseus is the most heroic of them all. Perseus was for good, while Theseus was just arrogant. He wanted to be famous and by trying to become famous he did more harm than anything else. Perseus actaully acomplished good for others.
Theseus is in more than one way a hero. He doesn't surpass Perseus or Jason in Heroism. Theseus completes some hard tasks but not with much help from the gods, which makes it not as valiant. Also Theseus was just out to get known. He could've gone andmet his father quickly by boat but instead decides to walk tobe considered a hero. Then when he is heading back from defeating the minotaur he is too happy and forgets to put up his white sale so his father jumps from a cliff to his death. We can see that Theseus was just happy about becoming a hero and forgot about his dad. Then when his wife dies he just reads the letter and completely believes it and banishes his only son. A true hero would listento both sidesand figure out what was going on before just using his power.
Theseus, although he followed the heroic code well was not quite as heroic as Perseus. If all events follow the heroic code the decision of who is more heroic falls on the reader to look at the story's and determine why one was more heroic than others. All three heroes follow the code, but all for different reasons. Jason wants his own land back and betrays at least one person in his quest. Perseus gained nothing personally from his quest, while Theseus is only trying to make a name for himself. Theseus however does many heroic things and rids the world of many evils, while Perseus's only choice of quest was to kill Medusa. The killing of Medusa is a quite heroic class but not comparable to all that Theseus does. However Perseus had no personal gain from his quest while Theseus was only trying to get personal gain. The comparison of quests to personal desire makes the question of who was more heroic between Theseus and Perseus undecidable.
I would have to say that Perseus is definitely more heroic than Theseus because it seems that Theseus' actions were more aimed to achieve fame and to have his name known rather than appreciated. Perseus seemed more determined and true to his goals.
Theseus exemplifies almost the entire heroic code which would normally grant him the title of the best hero. The only thing that stops him from being better than Perseus is that Perseus was helped by the gods which grants him greater standing from the heroes point of view. I would also like to point out that pursuing fame, like Theseus did, is more heroic according to the Greeks than accomplishing something for the greater good.
I think Theseus is more heroic than Perseus. Theseus sticks to his goals and doesn't do his quest for fame like Theseus. He faces each challenge like a hero. Perseus uses the objects that if he didn't have couldnt win the fight against Medusa. Theseus seeks out challenges and wins by his own hand.
I think Theseus is more heroic than perseus. His deeds accomplished much more than Perseus's did, perseus also seemed selfish in his deeds where as Theseus seemed more slefless.
Perseus is easily more heroic than Theseus, for Theseus only wanted to be a hero for the sole reason of being something special. As we see both heroes accomplishments you might think that Theseus's were greater, but in the end Perseus did more because he wanted to help people and not himself like Theseus did. While Perseus did a lot for other people Jason was also a hero that did heroic deeds for people and not himself. By doing things for good you become a hero, but when you do them for fame you are nothing.
Theseus doesn't fit the word hero to me as much as Perseus does because Perseus actually saves people before they die unlike Theseus who for example kills a robber after he pushes two people off of a cliff to their deaths while Perseus is on his journey to get his kingdom back for his people and he saves Andromeda from the seas monster. Although Theseus does kill the Minotaur and becomes king of Athens he doesn't feel like a hero in my mind.
Personally I would go for theseus as more heroic than perseus because perseus suceeded not so much of his own accord, but rather with the help and intriquite directions that were given to him by others. Theseus at least uses natural talent to help with peace, and even though his quest was not as long lasting, he rescued many people on his way.
I believe that Perseus is definitly the most heroic, While i despise Jason because he required help to conquer some tasks, and then he turned on those that helped him, such as Medea. Theseus fits right in the middle becuse he did need help but he was quick to act and braved way more danger. All in all Perseus and Theseus did more for those around them before they thought about themselves.

I would say Theseus because he goes through more hard ship to achive his heroic tasks. Will perseus does one task with lots of help from the gods.
