I know that there has been an animated movie about him but I don't remember much of it. I know that he has something in common with Hermes I think. And I know that he is the god of strength.
I don't really know anything about Hercules. The only thing I know is he is a famous Greek hero that has many books and movies telling his story.
I know that Hercules is The strongest god of all and he is the son of Zeus. he is mainly known for his strength but also known for his many many dangerous and outstanding adventures that he has gone on.
So prior knowledge that I know is he is the son of Zeus, he didn't actually love megara he raped her. he was a great hero among all and often got help from the gods. Didnt he have a pegasus? He lived among humans and was raised among them.
Hercules was a son of Zeus and a demigod because he lived among and was raised by humans. He is quite possibly the most famous Gree hero with more stories and films about him than any other. The hydra was slain by his sword and he was an Argonaut with Jason. He also killed his entire human family.
I know that Hercules is a Greek myth about a hero who completed a set of tasks. He killed a lion for one of them, and I know he killed his family.

I know that Hercules has a tremendous amount of strength. He is the God of strength and heroes. His symbol is the bow and arrow. Within a myth, he had killed his family. He is the son of Zeus and Hera.

I remember the movie by Disney about Hercules, and he is probably one of the most famous greek heroes because of it.
I know that Hercules is a great Greek hero who's referenced a lot in literature and modern day interpretations. He's a demigod and son of Zeus.

As a child, he was stolen away from his father and most of his powers were drained but he was left with his strength. He has a myth where he holds up some pillars and saves some people and it was one of his biggest stories.

The only place i would have gotten background knowledge is Hercules the disney movie. I'm not really sure how accurate it is, and the last time I watched it was several years ago. I think he was a son of Zeus, but was stuck on Earth for some reason? Other than that I know that he was supposed to be really strong.
My favorite Disney movie is Hercules I have loved it ever since I was younger. He is depicted as a seemingly perfect character but gets caught up in being prideful which we see in many different Greek hero myths. In the movie, he has a love interest but there is not much about his family, I think that he is feeling alone for most of the story. There is a perception about Hercules without knowing about the actual myth that he is a great example of a hero but recently I have heard otherwise.

Hercules was the son of Zeus, and he went on to do lots of quests and great missions that gained him popularity throughout the world.
In my previous Knowledge of hercules, I know him as the incredibly strong and noble son of zeus. I know him to be a hero amongst men who'd slay any monster brought upon him in order to keep peace. I now know him after reading and hearing the story as a powerful man who gets distracted by things like envy, anger, and Lust.
Most of what I know about him comes from pop culture He is the son of zeus, he's super strong, he had a wife named mega. Hera was mad at him because he was the result of one of Zeus's affairs. My prior knowledge of Hercules all comes from the Disney movie. He was a demigod, with super strength, and could not be harmed by any physical thing, but could be harmed by magic. I also thought that Hercules was a super nice guy and that everyone loved him cause he could no wrong. However, after reading the myth I learned that Hercules wasn't all that he was cracked up to be. He had killed his entire family by himself, and anyone who posed a threat to him Hercules would kill will ease and little thought. Hercules was nice until you made him angry and then he had no problem using his super strength to overpower his opponents.
