I truly do not know anything about hercules and I never saw the disney movie.
I know a little bit about Hercules. I mainly know that he is one of the most popular Greek Gods and there has been several movies made about him for a very long time. I saw some of the cartoons when I was younger but besides that I just know the basic about Hercules
I think that Hercules was a bit better of a hero than Jason, but he was still not a very nice person. He made questionable choices regarding his love life, but he accomplished several feats that should have been impossible. As a reward, BOOM he's a god and lives on Olympus.
I know that Hercules has immense strength and was known as the strongest mortals among mortals, he is also the son of Zeus, he was the only man born of a mortal woman to become a god upon his death.
I am not too familiar with the actual story surrounding Hercules. I know that he is a very strong and powerful person and based off the Disney cartoon he is a good person. I have heard him mentioned more than any other Greek hero and is one of the names the first comes to mind when I hear "Greek Mythology".
I don't really know a whole lot about Hercules. I know that there are many movies about him, even Disney has a cartoon movie about him. I have not seen the Disney film however, I know that he is seen as a hero. I know that he has a Pegasus, which he rides on to do his quest, which I do not know what his quest is.
The first thing I remember about Hercules was that he killed his family after going crazy. I also remember from a Disney cartoon version of Hercules that he went and talked to the Fates, saved a damsel in distress, and was trained by Chiron.
Hercules was the son of Zeus making him hated by Hera. He was known for his incredible strength. I know Hercules was possessed by Hera to kill his family. Out of grief and guilt I think, he performs the 12 labors to become immortal. The first labor he has to kill a lion that has unbreakable skin. He then has to kill the Hydra, and that's about all I know.
I don't know too much about Hercules except for what the Disney version tells. Based on the Disney movie, Hercules was the son of Zeus and Hera and he lived in Mount Olympus. However, Hades was afraid that Hercules would destroy him if he kept his god-like strength so he commanded his minions to kidnap him and make him immortal. Fortunately, Hercules kept his strength but he still had to live on Earth until he proved himself a true hero. Hercules sought the training he needed and defeated the many obstacles that Hades threw at him. In the end, he became a hero but he refused to live in Olympus in order to be with his love.
Aside from the movies, I know that Hercules was Zeus's last mortal son. Hercules had insane physical strength; some people thought he was stronger than any mortal or god that ever existed. He went on many adventures and slayed various monsters. Beyond that, I don't know a whole lot more about Hercules.
Hercules son of Zeus is a powerful demigod. He has defeated many monsters like Nemean Lion and has overcome many tasks and trials such as the 12 labors of King Eurystheus. And he was possessed by Hera and killed his family.
Hercules is was considered the bravest hero in all of mythology. He is the son of Zeus and was therefore an enemy of Hera. In fact, she tried to kill him on many occasions including when she sent snakes to bite him in his crib. The baby killed the snakes immediately. Heracles name derives from Hera, the woman who wanted to kill him, because her husband Zeus was trying to appease her. Hera was also responsible for sending Heracles on his 12 labors. The most famous of which was him killing the Nemian lion. Hercules was also present for the Oddyssey.
Hercules was a greek demi god. He was the son of Zeus. He was extremely powerful and was given 12 tasks in order for him to find his place in olympus. He has to defeat the lion, the hydra, the hind, the boar, the stables, the boar, the bull, the horses, the belt, the cattle, the apples, and cerberus.
He was born a son of Zeus and that frustrated Hera attempting to kill him by sending him a snake, he killed the snake while still a child. He would grow up to be one of the most powerful demigods both by mind and body. Hera still despised him so she had him kill his family. From this he had to complete 12 labors, he would often join journeys to be a hero. He thought himself worthy of god hood and that made him arrogant. In the end he died, yet Zeus made him a god.
He was a son of Zeus and Alcemena in Thebes. Ended up almost immortal cause Hera nursed him. He had a wife named Megara and Hera got pissed because she realized he's a son of Zeus, sent two snakes to kill him in his cradle but he strangled them. Later, she tried to kill him again and cursed him with temporary madness which caused him to kill his three sons, as well as wife in some versions. To make up for this he performed 12 labors including slaying the Nemean lion (whose fur he is often depicted wearing) and slaying the hydra. Also, he stole the mares of Diomededes (man eating mares) who he gave to his buddy and lover Abderus while he finished his labors, which lead to Abderus being eaten. His mortal flaw was that he was gluttonous and lustful, even when he was married. He also """danced""" with his nephew Iolaus and in some versions, felt to much grief at seeing his wife after killing his children, that he gave Megara (who was like 30) to Iolaus (who was like 16). He was considered to be the strongest man alive but wasn't all that smart or kind and tended to have vicious bouts of anger, which caused some of the gods to suggest that perhaps he simply killed his wife not due to Hera but simply because his own unpredictable temper. He may have been the great grandson of Perseus, and was later granted immortality.
Aside from a brief and shallow understanding of Hercules being half man, half god who was blessed with super human strength. Outside of these lesser facts, I know nothing of Hercules.
He's the son of Zeus, of which he doesn't even know until his teens. One of the most powerful if not THE most powerful demigod, in terms of raw physical strength at least. Defeats many creatures such as a hydra.
Heracles is a more raw and gruesome story that is told by an unbiased narrator and Hercules is a more"American" adapted story as it was made easier to pronounce and it is a bit more cheery of a story, like the Disney classic.
I know that Hercules or Heracles' name means glory of Hera. A name to please Hera for Zeus' disloyalty. He also killed his family and was required to perform the 12 labors. I know that one of these labors is killing the Nemean Lion whose coat is impenetrable and can only killed from the inside.
Heracles and Hercules have similar back story but basically he is the same guy. the name Hera-cu-les was given to him by Zeus to appease the Hera from Zeus having another child. He killed his first wife and children which is ironic because of the fact that he gets killed by poison by his 2nd wife. cyntar blood, his wife was so sad that she killed him because of her jealousy, she killed herself.
