Honestly I know most of my information about Hercules from the Disney movie. I do know that the movie does not accurately depict Greek Myth, for instance the fact that Disney made Zeus a loving, committed husband. I do know most of the songs from the movie as well as the plot. Overall, I don't have much prior knowledge on Hercules, and I am eager to learn more about the original myth.
To my understanding he is a hero, but that idea is based on the disney movie i watched when i was a child. I know that his father is Zeus and that he has super strong powers but once again that is all knowledge from the movie.
From what I know, Unlike the movie where he was stolen from Olympus, Hera actually was the one who cast Hercules out of Olympus and onto earth. I don't know much more besides that later he killed his wife Megara and their children in a fit of madness.
The only thing I know about Hercules is that he was incredibly strong. The only knowledge I have of him is from the Disney movie. In the movie, he wanted to become this great hero and he spent many years training. For some reason, Hades didn't like him and was trying to kill him in different ways but Hercules was too strong to defeat. I don't think that's the actual myth, though.
Hercules was the son of Zeus and he grew up not knowing that. He found out when he got older and went on an exploration to find his father. He completed many tasks to prove his bravery and heroic qualities. He had many crazy adventures that tested his own strength and knowledge and power. He is known for his strength and extreme heroism.
Hercules was a Greek hero. He slayed the dragon thing with multiple heads that multiplied every time he cut one off. He loved the one girl who sold her soul to Hades.
I know that Hercules is one of the most famous of Greek heroes. He was a son of Zeus who was very strong. But his life was filled with hardship and trials. He did some bad things like kill his family. He also had to do a number of tasks set to him by the gods. He sailed on the Argos with Jason and new some other famous heroes as well. He is very well known and there is lots of modern renditions of his story.
Hercules is the sun of Jupiter, He had immense strength. He killed his family in a fit of rage and had to go through many trials. He was known to be fearless and invincible.
Hercules is a story I only know by the verry inacurate Disney version. I know he's a hero that other greek heoros live by and that he was a had great failures. All the disney version ever tought me is that gospil music and greek heros go hand in hand. Also that hadies is like a modern day croked lawer. What Ive also been told is he is a god that decied to become part human for some abatrary love.
I know nothing from the true Hercules myth, all I know is from the disney verison. But that may not be completly accuate because many things conrtdict the mythology we have alread read.
I know that Hercules was a great hero who through his own experiences learned how to become one of the greatest Greek heroes. I also know that Hercules is the son of Zeus.
I don't really know much about Hercules. I know he was given the task to kidnap cerberus the three-headed dog that guarded the entrance to the underworld to keep the living out. Hercules made it back. He also killed his wife.
What I know about Heracles and his myth is that he was sent on twelve missions for Hera. His twelve missions were to show his strength h and worthyness to live on Mt Olympus
I know that Hercules was a hero, His father was Zeus, he was extremely muscular and strong. He did not know his father was Zues. I do not know Heracles.
Although Hercules is arguably the most famous character in mythology, I have only seen the classic disney movie. What I learned from the movie was that after the birth of Hercules, Hades was upset and went to the fates to find how he could become the ruler of everything. The fates told him that if he took away Hercules’ powers he would be able to raise the titans to use to control the world. Hades had his henchmen take Hercules to earth and give him a potion to take away his divine power, but they didnt give him the entire bottle, so Hercules was able to grow up and defeat Hades and the Titans.
The main source of knowledge I have of Hercules is from the Disney movie adaptation. Though it covers up several things like the fact that he murdered his family. It showed him battling the Hydra, and his in general feud with Hades. I look forward to learning the truth behind the popular myth.
What I know about Hercules is that he is a great hero with god like strength given to him by his father, who defeated many beasts and monsters. Most of what I know however is based off of the Disney movie which most likely is an inaccurate depiction of Hercules. -David
From what I know, Hera was the one who cast Hercules out of Olympus and onto earth. He proves to everyone how superior he really is. How he takes on all 12 labors and conquers them. When a average man can't even do two of them. Besides that I don't know much other than from what is protrayed from the disney movie.
I really don't have any prior knowledge about the Hercules except the Disney version of the myth. I do know that the two version of his names are roman and Greek. Hercules is the new roman version of the name and Heracles is the original Greek name supposed to honor his parents Zeus and Hera.
