There is a mythology is Star Wars because they said all great movies have to be regenerated that is turned into some what a myth and to recreate a myth that had once been told. The robots that are in Star Wars and are being interacted with humans shows what people consider to be a myth because that is not something that you think to be "normal". The idea didn't come based off of anything besides little stories that have been told and sitting down and just going off of what's been told nothing was used to be showed how anything looked or what happened. You are influenced by the things that you like which causes you to change some of the things you heard or saw making it more a what people would call a "myth".

Star wars is rich in mythology but also plays on it's tropes.Star wars is all about fofiling your destiny but in your own way. If luke would have listoned to his eldores his friends would have died. You see the taking your own fate in own hands. The stoy almost laughes at fate. I belvie Myth is difrent way the thing is star wars takes from all the film genras. In contrast the precules are a convluted mess and garbege.I would argue that gorge hin self at first he was the hero then he was not contednt with him self he betraed his own destony

The creator of Star Wars stated how he wanted to add a lot of the motifs that he sees in myths that deal with everyday life like relationships, etc. Many Greek myths are based around different relationships. He also based his costumes off of ceremonial influences from the middle east. Those cultural influences could have come from the myths in that culture. This just shows how influencing mythology can be. It's not just Greek mythology that has a big impact on life today, but all mythology from different cultures.

George Lucas the director of "Star Wars" stated how he tries to recreate Myths that we all heard as children and still hear today. He also talked of how he uses the cultures around the world to create his movies in the "Phantom Menace" he used allot of the cultures from Asia to create the planet of Nabu. he talks of his under w world showing his imagination going where nobodies gone before. showing his skills and what he can do has ultimatly he can show good evil and can also show the in between.

In a way there is. Star Wars was sculpted from many different sources, and I wouldn't be surprised if Star Wars has some connection to Greek Mythology. Both Greek Mythology and Star Wars have an exaggerated perspective on humanity, and overall they relate.

I say that Star Wars has a lot of mythology. They have to keep everything on topic because it would be very easy to mess up the plot or scene.

I think that there is some mythology to Star Wars. Star wars is based in an alternate world and space. It is a different reality with the characters and the settings. None of the things represented in Star Wars are a reality however they are used to explain how their world is the way it is. This is similar to mythology because it uses different ideas and creative aspects to explain the patterns and ideas of the world.

I think that there is mythology in Star wars because there is mythology is almost everything. There is mythology in star wars because in Star Wars the are quest and test that they have to go through, just like the quest that the heroes have to go through, so in that way there is mythology in star wars. Also there is an relationship with mythology in the sense that destiny is involved. In many of the myths we learned about this year have some sort of destiny in the myth.

I have seen Star Wars many times, but I never made the connection to mythology. But now I see that the roots or main plot follows differnent myths we have learned about. I guess you could say there is no such thing as a new idea!

Since a myth is basically a story, Star Wars is a myth/story. Star wars is a mythologic story with made up monsters and characters with crazy powers and duties. Star wars is basically a myth
